[Event Sketch] Yanolja Research Leads the Discussion on Tourism DX & AI at KTO Seminar
On November 3rd, Park Sung-sik, CEO of Yanolja Research, and Choi Kyuwan, Professor at the H&T Analytics Center of Kyung Hee University, served as special speakers at the <2025 Tourism DX & AI Seminar> hosted by the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO). The event was held at the Textile Center Event Hall in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, to strengthen the digital capabilities of travel industry professionals.
This seminar was organized to explore practical business strategies utilizing data and AI amidst the rapidly changing tourism industry environment. The event was attended by 300 selected industry insiders on-site, while many others joined via online live streaming (Tourism e-Learning Center), confirming the high enthusiasm for digital innovation.
The first session of the day, titled "DX in the Tourism Industry," featured Professor Choi Kyu-wan and CEO Park Sung-sik as key speakers, delivering in-depth lectures.
Taking the stage first, Dr. Choi Kyu-wan spoke on the theme of "The Experiential Value of Tourism and the Role of DX," emphasizing the importance of digital transformation in enhancing customer experiential value. He then reviewed the latest DX trends in the tourism industry and provided deep insights into the transformation of the business ecosystem utilizing AI.

Following this, CEO Park Sung-sik introduced the structure of the tourism industry's digital value chain and the latest flows of DX and AX (AI Transformation) within it. In particular, he presented specific examples of major AI technologies held by Yanolja and its group companies and their actual applications. His presentation vividly conveyed the present and future of AI utilization in the travel ecosystem, receiving a positive response from the audience.

After the keynote presentations, a panel discussion took place featuring CEO Park Sung-sik, Professor Choi Kyu-wan, creator Heecheulism (who presented earlier), and special guest Kim Tae-kwon, Head of IT Division at Hana Tour. They engaged in an in-depth discussion on the future direction of the tourism industry where data, AI technology, and content converge, based on their respective fields of expertise. Through Q&A sessions with on-site attendees, they shared practical solutions and convergent insights on how technological advancements can be applied to the actual field, adding further depth to the seminar.
