Objective

Yanolja Research aims to comprehensively analyze the current conditions of the lodging industry in Korea and provide reliable market information to various stakeholders. For this, Yanolja Research analyzes three key performance indexes for major lodging categories including hotels, motels, pensions, and vacation rentals: Average Daily Rate (ADR), Occupancy Rate (OCC), and Revenue per Available Room (RevPAR).

  • - AirDNA: Provision of actual performance data from global vacation rental platforms
  • - SanhaIT: Lodging-related POS linkage data
  • - Self-conducted surveys: Surveys of domestic lodging facilities on operations and market outlook

- Analysis methods

  • - Integration of proprietary and external data to conduct performance analysis by lodging type and region
  • - Calculation of indicators such as RevPAR based on ADR and OCC
  • - Presentation of outlook through analysis of seasonal and trend factors
