[Seminar] 2026 Evaluation of Korea's Leading Festivals

Reg Date
2026.07.20

Greetings from Yanolja Research!

On Tuesday, August 11, Yanolja Research, in collaboration with Purdue University's CHRIBA Institute and the H&T Analytics Center at Kyung Hee University, will host the 2026 Evaluation of Korea’s Leading Festivals seminar at the International Conference Hall on the 9th floor of the Seoul Global Center.

At this seminar, we will present for the first time the findings of our study evaluating the attractiveness of Korea’s leading festivals using large-scale social media big data. Drawing on online reviews and experience-based content shared by festival visitors, the research provides an objective assessment of the appeal of major festivals across Korea while examining the distinctive characteristics and competitiveness of different festival types. The seminar will also explore the strengths of festivals as tourism content, their potential for future growth, and the challenges that lie ahead.

We hope this seminar will offer valuable insights for those interested in tourism, regional festivals, cultural content, and data analytics. We warmly invite you to join us and look forward to your participation.

Thank you.
