[Seminar] 2026 Global Tourism City Attractiveness Index

Reg Date
2026.06.23

Greetings from Yanolja Research!

On July 16, 2026 (Thursday), Yanolja Research, Purdue University's CHRIBA Institute, and Kyung Hee University's H&T Analytics Center will jointly host the 2026 Global Tourism City Attractiveness Index Seminar at the International Conference Hall on the 9th floor of the Seoul Global Center.

Last year, Yanolja Research introduced the Yanolja Attractiveness Index (YAI), a new approach to evaluating the attractiveness of major tourism cities around the world based on travelers' real experiences and perceptions.

This year's seminar will present the findings from the second year of the study. Drawing on social media big data, we will examine how the attractiveness of major global tourism cities has evolved over time and discuss the strengths and challenges of Korean cities in comparison with their global counterparts.

We expect this seminar to provide valuable insights for those interested in tourism, urban development, and data analytics. We sincerely hope you will join us and look forward to your participation.

Thank you.
